This pattern is a PERFECT first cardigan sweater to knit. You will learn seamless and circular knitting construction and assembly,  starting off at the neck and working down to the hem. We will talk a lot about careful finishing so your sweater looks great. This class will span 3 months, and if you knit every day, you can finish it within that time frame.  Here is a message board set up to keep us all connected between meets where you can ask questions (you'll have to create a free account with Ravelry to access it):

Finished sweater chest sizes: 37-64”
860, 860, 1000, 1000 (1150, 1150, 1275, 1275) yards of DK weight yarn that knits at a gauge of 5 stitches to one inch.
Measure a sweater or sweatshirt that fits you loosely. Lay the sweater down and measure across the chest right at the underarm area. Double that measurement and you will get the chest measurement for this pattern. Choose the size closest to what you measured.
