This pattern is a seamless pullover rich with cable patterns. You will learn seamless and circular knitting construction and assembly,  starting off at the bottom and working to the neck. We will talk a lot about careful finishing so your sweater looks great. If you have any questions

You will need the pattern, the yarn plus the needles and supplies shown below. At or before the first class, you will need to bring a sweater or sweatshirt that fits you like you want this cabled sweater to fit. We will measure it together, and establish this as the size you will work towards recreating.

Finished sweater chest sizes are created by each knitter. The pattern as written, using HARBORSIDE ARAN WOOL or  LAMB'S PRIDE WOOL/MOHAIR measures 56" around.Once the sleeve is knit, the measurements taken from the gauge there will allow you to plot the body, and adjust the "filler" patterns between the cables up or down in size to accommodate sweaters that measure from 40" to 70". We will do this together in class.


If knit at 4.5 sts=1" in stockinette stitch gauge (NOT cabled gauge!), yardage estimates are:
The 56" sweater takes 1800-2000 yards. Smaller sizes will take less and larger sizes more.
The 42" takes 1600 yards.

56" will require 11 skeins Lambs Pride or 12 skeins Harborside Aran
