Knit A Basic Sweater:
Sundays,

11 AM -1 PM

This pattern is a PERFECT first sweater to knit. You will learn circular knitting construction and assembly,  starting off by knitting a sleeve to check your knitting gauge. We will talk a lot about careful finishing so your sweater looks great. This class will span 3 months, and if you knit every day, you can finish it within that time frame. 
There are more classes available once this class is over, so you will not be abandoned!

Knit a double thick hat, from crown to rim to crown again. Learn to use double pointed needles and circular needles.
Learn to start a hat from the top.
Skills you will learn:
→ circular cast on
→using double pointed needles OR magic loop on a LONG needle
→ lifted increases
→ how to measure gauge
→ how to plot a hat for your size

 Knit generously sized, thick house socks from the top down on double pointed needles or with magic loop on a long circular needle. Learn to knit a dutch heel and a star toe.

For those of you new to the craft, this class will teach the basics of knitting with soft and renewable wool yarn. Topics to be covered are: Casting on, knit stitch, purl stitch, garter stitch, ribbing stitch, cable stitch, seed stitch, joining yarn, and casting off. Continental, English or American knitting will be taught with full support for right handed or left handed knitters.  A 5 foot scarf with all pattern stitches represented will be the class project.
