Supplies List for

Rip Van Winkle THE BEST OF ELIZABETH ZIMMERMANN Knitting Retreat
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, November  16, 17 & 18, 2018

The BEST things you can bring with you are your finished projects.
We all learn SO MUCH from each other at the retreats, and many times
folks find inspiration for their next knitting project in YOUR knitting bag,
so please bring LOTS for show and tell on FRIDAY AFTERNOON.
There is WIFI at WINTER CLOVE INN, so bring your laptops/ipads/mobile-gadgets with you so we can
play a little bit on RAVELRY and FACEBOOK and get to know their knitting communities better.

Please note: you may bring your own yarns and tools to this retreat.
There will be needles, yarns, gadgets, and books there for sale, but if you are supplied already
with what you NEED, then you won't have to buy it.
Noted below each project are the yarns in stock at Countrywool that will work.

There will be at least 6 different carefully selected-for-color kits
for the Cap and Baby Surprise Jacket at the retreat when you get there.
Payment options: cash, check and credit card.

Row 1: *K4, P4* across ending K4.
Row 2: *P4, K4* across ending P4.
Repeat these two rows for pattern.
After 4", cut yarn leaving 8".
With a BRIGHT color and a 8" tail, work one row in pattern. Cut yarn leaving 12".
With original color and an 8" tail, work another 4 inches and bind off.

Bring this sample with you to class , along with ALL the darning needles you own and a set of smaller double pointed needles than you knit with.
